Luke 15 Sponsorship Challenge
What if….
a child is waiting for you to invite them to come to camp. At Fair Haven Camps, we want as many kids as possible to have a summer camp experience where they have the opportunity to grow physically, socially, and spiritually. We invite you to consider sponsoring a child you know to come to camp this summer.
What does it mean to sponsor a child?
By sponsoring a child you are agreeing to do the following steps:
1. Pray for them
2. Talk to them about camp, be sure to include their parents in the conversation
3. If they are interested, make plans to get them to camp (offer to drive them to camp, help to cover the cost, etc)
4. Pray for them while they are at camp
5. Pray for them after camp and encourage them to get involved in a local church if they are not already.
What is the goal of the Luke 15 Sponsorship Challenge?
The goal of the Luke 15 Sponsorship Challenge is to connect with kids from the surrounding communities who have never been to camp or maybe even never been to church. Each of us know families with kids who might want to send their kids to camp, but have never heard about Fair Haven Camps or maybe are just waiting for someone to invite them.
Do I have to pay for children I sponsor?
We encourage you to talk with the parents about the financial part of going to camp. If the parents would like some financial assistance the best thing you can do is seek help from your church or local community. By involving your church and community you are not only creating a connection between yourself and the family, but hopefully connecting the family to a local church. Fair Haven Camps also has a limited amount of scholarship funding available for those who qualify. Contact the camp office for more information on scholarships.

Send an e-mail letting us know to register@fairhavencamps.org with your name and address. We will send you a sponsorship card and a Fair Haven Camps magnet so that you can put the card on your fridge as a reminder to be in prayer for the kids you would like to sponsor.
