Why Do A Challenge Course?
Challenge Course programs provide an environment for personal and group growth. Trained instructors guide your group though various physical and mental challenges that are designed to foster growth in areas such as communication, leadership, goal setting, and team work. For many participants it is an opportunity to step outside their comfort zone and learn what they can accomplish when working as a group.
Teambuilding is a term used to describe activities that are designed to encourage groups to grow in areas like trust, communication, cooperation, leadership, and goal setting. Activities can range from high-energy to group problem solving and are led by a trained facilitator who is there to guide the group as well as ensure all safety procedures are being followed.
The Low Ropes Program builds upon the goals of Teambuilding with the addition of challenges on our Low Ropes course. Participants will work as a group to solve or overcome these challenges. Trust in the other members of your group becomes necessary as participants rely on them to “spot” while completing some elements. All activities are led by a trained facilitator.
The High Ropes course is designed to allow participants to step outside their comfort zone and have new experiences. Participants have the choice on how far they chose to push themselves, but are encouraged to go as far as they can. Elements offered include: Zipline, Jacob’s Ladder, Climbing Wall, and Leap of Faith. All activities are led by trained facilitators and all participants must follow all safety instructions.
