Helping Every Child Experience Camp Life with Christ
We believe every child should have the opportunity to experience the joy, growth, and Christ-centered community that camp provides. Scholarships are available for families with demonstrated financial need and may cover up to $520 per camper.
Because scholarship funds are limited, we offer one scholarship per child, and assistance is awarded based on need and available funding.
Before You Apply
Contact your local/home Church
Many churches set aside funds specifically to help send children to camp.
If your church chooses to partner with your family, checks can be mailed to camp or sent with your child. Please include the camper’s name in the memo line.Ask Family or Friends
Grandparents and family friends often want to help make camp possible. Don’t hesitate to reach out.
Foster & Newly Adopted Children
The State of Maine pays for many foster or newly adopted children to attend summer camp.
Please contact your child’s caseworker about this opportunity. Once your caseworker confirms funding, they should email us at register@fairhavencamps.org We will then provide a registration code that bypasses the $50 deposit.
Note: Because Fair Haven receives state payment after summer, automated payment reminders may still appear until the balance is received.
Scholarship Application Process
Our scholarship request form is built into the online camp registration process. Paper applications are no longer offered. If you need assistance, please call 207-722-3456 or email register@fairhavencamps.org
Important Information
The $50 registration fee is required for each camper’s camp registration.

We will contact you once your application is approved. This process can take up to 4 weeks. **Scholarships are donor supported and will only be awarded when funds are available.
Please prayerfully consider the full amount that you are able to contribute. We have payment plans available in the registration process to help with the costs of camp.
One scholarship per child, award amounts will vary, up to a maximum of $520.00.
Families with multiple children will receive tiered scholarship amounts for each additional camper.Scholarships can only be applied towards camp tuition.
If your camper will be attending a specialty camp like Horse Camp, you must pay the difference between the awarded scholarship and the specialty camp tuition cost.
Our scholarship program is made possible through the generosity of donors who believe every child should experience Camp Life with Christ. If you would like to partner in this mission, you may give through our Donate page.
